Before we begin any therapy at our chronic conditions center in Bethel Park, we want to see what’s happening inside your body. That’s why we perform a thorough X-ray review. This important step helps us create the safest and most effective treatment plan for you.
First, we carefully visualize your bones to understand your unique structure. Next, we count each segment of your spine to make sure everything is in the right place. Then, we look closely for any signs of degeneration or pathology that could affect your treatment. After all, we want to make sure it’s completely safe to proceed with therapy.
During the review, we analyze your joints in detail. As a result, we can show you exactly how much you are out of alignment. Furthermore, this information helps us understand why you’re experiencing pain and what we need to fix.
Your X-rays tell us an important story. For instance, we can see where bones might be wearing down or where joints aren’t moving correctly. Additionally, we can spot problems that you might not even feel yet. Therefore, this early detection allows us to prevent bigger issues down the road.
Moreover, these images help us explain your condition in a way you can actually see and understand. Instead of just describing what’s wrong, we show you the evidence on the screen. Consequently, you become an active partner in your own healing journey.
If you already have older X-rays from previous doctors or appointments, please bring them with you. In fact, these past images can be extremely valuable because they show us how your condition has changed over time. However, if you don’t have any X-rays, don’t worry. We can easily order new ones for you at a local imaging center.
Meanwhile, many of our patients ask the imaging center to put their X-rays on a disc. Then, you can simply bring the disc to your appointment. As a result, we can look at the images together on our screen and discuss what we find.
Once we complete your X-ray review, we will develop a customized treatment plan. Subsequently, we use this information to guide every therapy session. Our goal is always to improve function and help you achieve pain-free living.
At our Bethel Park center, we believe that understanding your condition is the first step toward healing. Therefore, we take the time to review your X-rays carefully and answer all your questions. After all, when you know what’s wrong, you can feel confident about the path forward.
